Motorola MOTO U9

The new Motorola MOTO U9 is small, lightweight and shiny: not my usual taste in mobiles, but I was pleasantly surprised. The MOTO U9 has a clamshell design with a unique outer OLED screen hidden beneath its shiny exterior; you wouldn\'t even know it existed until you received your first text message. What is really amazing about this outer screen is the ingenious interface that allows you to control many of the phone\'s functions, including playing music, using touch-sensitive buttons. You can even reply to text messages using a pre-defined, customisable list of replies, all without actually opening the phone. The feature that most impressed, though, was the predictive text writing: not only does it provide suggestions for finishing words, but it also offers to complete entire sentences that you have previously written, making messaging lightning-quick. The camera is only 2 megapixels, which by today\'s standards is quite poor, but the phone\'s stylish design and ultra-cool music controls make this an ideal companion for the style -savvy.
