Vienna
Did you know that Vienna possesses one of the most beautiful city railway networks in Europe? In the 1890s, Otto Wagner, one of Austrias most important architects, came up with the idea of making the Vienna transport system more than just a regular series of train stations - he wanted to create works of art. From the handrails to the doorknobs on the ticket booths, Wagner made sure that every minor detail was crafted to perfection.
Did you know that the most elegant horses strut their stuff in the centre of Vienna? The Spanische Hofreitschule has been going since 1572 and is one of the most famous riding schools in the world. Taking its name from the Spanish Lipizzaner, a breed of horse which was ridden in the area, the school is famous for the classic riding traditions of the Hohen-Schule. The grace of the horses can be seen during morning sessions or at special gala performances, although tickets are often sold-out months in advance.

Cranberries
A cousin of the blueberry, this very tart, bright red berry can still be found growing wild as a shrub, but when cultivated, is grown on low trailing vines in great sandy bogs. The American cranberry, the variety most cultivated in the northern United States and southern Canada, produces a larger berry than the wild cranberry or the European variety.
Cranberries have long been valued for their ability to help prevent and treat urinary tract infections. Now, recent studies suggest that this native American berry may also promote gastrointestinal and oral health, prevent the formation of kidney stones, lower LDL and raise HDL good cholesterol, aid in recovery from stroke, and even help prevent cancer.
Fresh cranberries, which contain the highest levels of beneficial nutrients, are at their peak from October through December, just in time to add their festive hue, tart tangy flavor and numerous health protective effects to your holiday meals. When cranberries short fresh season is ...
Strawberries
The fragrantly sweet juiciness and deep red color of strawberries can brighten up both the taste and aesthetics of any meal; it is no wonder they are the most popular berry fruit in the world. Although strawberries have become increasingly available year-round, they are at the peak of their season from April through July when they are the most delicious and most abundant.
While there are more than 600 varieties of strawberries that differ in flavor, size and texture, one can usually identify a strawberry by its red flesh that has yellow seeds piercing its surface, and the small, regal, green leafy cap and stem that adorn its crown. In addition to strawberries that are cultivated, there are also varieties that grow wild. These are much smaller in size, but feature a more intense flavor.

Lemon/Limes
Although lemons and limes may not be what you would choose for an afternoon snack, we consider them as powerhouses when we want to bring out the flavor of other foods. While both are available throughout the year, lemons are in the peak of their season around May, June and August while limes are at their peak from May through October.
Lemons are oval in shape and feature a yellow, texturized outer peel. Like other citrus fruits, their inner flesh is encased in eight to ten segments.
Usually smaller than lemons, limes are oval or round in shape having a diameter of one to two inches with green flesh and skin. They can be either sour or sweet depending on the variety; however, sweet limes are not readily available in the United States. Sour limes contain citric acid giving them an acidic and tart taste, while sweet limes while lack citric acid and are sweeter in flavor.

Cabbage
Sturdy, abundant and inexpensive, cabbage is a longstanding dietary staple throughout the world and is so widely cultivated and stores so well that it is available throughout the year. However, it is at its best during the late fall and winter months when it is in season.
Cabbage is round in shape with layers of superimposed leaves with the inner leaves often lighter in color than the outer leaves because they are protected from the sunlight. They belong to the Cruciferae family of vegetables along with kale, broccoli, collards and Brussels sprouts.

About DRACULA-TRANSILVANYA
FICTION
Vlad Tepes /vlad tzepesh/, the prince of the Wallachia the southern part of todays Romania, known in legends as Dracula, has fascinated and continues to fascinate the whole world.
Vlad Draculas tumultuous life as well as the harshness of his punishments entered long lasting legends that were immediately spread all over Europe, first in Romanian and Slavonic and then in German, the latter being most exaggerated. Most of these legends are scareful stories presenting the hero as a fair but very cruel man. So his fame was very much amplified by the people imagination.
His life and unbelievable actions tempted many writers. A real fashion of Dracula the vampire voievode, books, was born, with great success, being printed edition after edition, in millions of copies. The subject was over taken noisily in cinematography in more than a hundred movies, awaking in film fans a vivid curiosity.

Williamson working on improving hands with new team
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Receiver Troy Williamson was the last player on the field during minicamp Saturday, spending extra time with his position coach.
Getty Images
After three disappointing seasons in Minnesota, WR Troy Williamson is looking forward to being a part of a revamped Jaguars receiving corps.
He wasn doing any speed drills. He wasn working on getting off the line of scrimmage. And he wasn running routes.
He was catching passes -- the thing that haunted him in Minnesota and caused him to seek a fresh start with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
But guess what? Williamson caught them all. In fact, he has caught just about everything thrown his way during Jacksonvilles two-day camp and since the team began offseason workouts last month.
Its just a big weight lifted off him, all that pressure, receivers coach Todd Monken said. Its still early, but weve been pleasantly surprised.
The Jaguars traded a sixth-round draft pick for Williamson, the seventh overall pick in the 2005 ...
Drink Yourself Skinny
No calorie counting, no carb watching. For half a century, meal-replacement shakes have been a no-brainer way to drop pounds. Why? They work
For Rob Nager, the epiphany occurred at Abercrombie & Fitch. He was picking through a stack of cargo pants and asked a clerk if they were available in a 42-inch waist. Dude, the kid sneered, we don make pants that big.
Nager, 38, faced a choice. He could ask the little weasel to step outside, or he could do something about his 250-pound frame. He opted for peace and a new waistline.
He tried Weight Watchers, then Atkins. Both plans helped him slim down, but the flab always returned. Finally, Nager tried a weight-loss strategy thats been around since TVs were black-and-white; a strategy so old-school that one of the studies showing that it works went on for a decade. His throwback approach: meal-replacement beverages MRs, in the weight-loss world. Nager just said no to solid food. Instead, he quaffed shakes in place of meals, eventually ...
How to Have a 1-Night Stand
Heres what I remember about the best one-night stand of my life: everything but his name. He was a bartender-slash-actor who rode a beat-up motorcycle, but I didn find that out until after his jeans came off. It started in a bar. He sat down next to my girlfriend and me -- we were having a giggly girls night out -- stared in the other direction, and didn say a word.
After 10 minutes, he asked if I would watch his stuff while he went outside to make a call. When he came back, he grimaced like De Niro and thanked me very politely. By that point, I was already curious about whom he had called, what was in his faded leather bag, and why he wouldn smile. So I asked if he was having a bad day. Within a couple of hours, we were naked in bed together. And then he was gone.
To this day, I have to admire how smooth he was, because great one-night stands are tough to pull off. Plenty can go wrong between the first long look and the next-day e-mail. This is what you need to know to do ...

Fine Living: Premium Chocolates
The world of chocolate has its highs and lows, to be sure. And the solid milk-chocolate bunnies we all enjoyed as kids are fine for 7-year-olds, but your palate has evolved beyond swapping quality for quantity. While Ferrero Rocher and Godiva are fine for some, the true chocolate connoisseur knows that the best there is to offer cannot be found in any drugstore.
Thankfully, gourmet chocolate is more abundant -- and more available -- in today’s market than ever before. After all, if Americans spend about $13 billion a year on chocolate, why shouldn’t we spend it on the good stuff?
La Maison du Chocolat
Country of origin: France
Price: Truffles are around $80 per pound and boxes are as much as $200.
As one of France’s finest manufacturers, there may be no other store that makes chocolate as luxurious as La Maison du Chocolat. The name says it all; it translates to The House of Chocolate.
La Maison packages its chocolates in leather boxes that are fine enough for the best jewelry. ...
Golf Tips from Camilo Villegas
Last September, Camilo Villegas was driving his black, 500-horsepower Porsche Cayenne Turbo to his Atlanta hotel after a PGA tournament when he saw flashing lights behind him. He pulled onto the shoulder of the road and waited as a policeman sauntered up to his window.
You been drinking? the cop asked.
Officer, I just got off the golf course. I was playing in a tournament, replied Villegas.
So youve had a few drinks.
Officer, like I said, I just got off the course.
Thats exactly what I mean, countered the cop. You golf, you drink. Thats what its all about.
After Villegas explained he was a professional golfer, the officer relented and let him off the hook for creeping above the speed limit. I thought that was pretty funny, says Villegas. Lots of people still don think of golf as a sport.
Villegas pronounced bee-JAY-gus is a 26-year-old from Colombia who turned pro in 2004 and finished last year with nearly $4 million in career earnings. Although he has yet to ...

Apples
The warm scent and flavor of baking apples is a sure sign that fall is just around the corner. In the Northern Hemisphere apples are in season from late summer to early winter. However, many varieties are available year round because they have been either kept in cold storage or imported from the Southern Hemisphere.
Apples are crisp, white-fleshed fruits with red, yellow or green skin. They range in taste from moderately sweet and refreshing to pleasantly tart depending on the variety. The apple is a member of the rose family, with a compartmentalized core that classifies it as a pome fruit.

For centuries, the port of Valletta has been regarded as one of the finest and safest natural havens in the Mediterranean. Wanted
Whats it about? Amid the current spate of comic book adaptations, Wanted is loosely based on the graphic series by Mark Millar which sees a secret order of assassins protect an unsuspecting world from the bad guys by, er, shooting them.
Why are we excited? An initial version of the script was rejected on the grounds of being too audience friendly. Cue the second, insanely violent draft by crazed Russian director Timur Bekmanbetov. It was accepted.
Angelina Jolie stars as the aptly named Agent Fox, a volatile mix of guns, leather and outrageous sexiness. A winning combination indeed.

Garlic
Although garlic may not always bring good luck, protect against evil or ward off vampires, it is guaranteed to transform any meal into a bold, aromatic and healthy culinary experience.
Fresh, dried and powdered garlic are available in markets throughout the year, however, fresh varieties from California are in season from June through December.
Garlic is arranged in a head, called the bulb, averaging about 2 inches in height and diameter consisting of numerous small separate cloves. Both the cloves and the entire bulb are encased in paper-like sheathes that can be white, off-white or pinkish. Although garlic cloves have a firm texture, they can be easily cut or crushed. The taste of garlic is like no other-it hits the palate with a hot pungency that is shadowed by a very subtle background sweetness. While elephant garlic has larger cloves, it is more closely related to the leek and therefore does not offer the full health benefits of regular garlic.

Exotic Rides: Lexus IS F
In the not-so-distant past, there was a time when the Toyota Motor Corporation’s amenity-laden American affiliate, Lexus, was heavily scrutinized -- not for the grade of the vehicles produced, as most car manufacturers are, but for the catalog itself. This barrage of criticism was spurred by the complete absence of a single performance model rolling off of Lexus assembly lines.
Enter the Lexus Intelligent Sport series -- code name: IS. Although the first two generations of 200/300 and 250/350 were well received and a formidable foray into the arena of high-output luxury sedans, rivals like Infiniti, Mercedes, Acura, and specifically BMW were beefing up their offerings to previously unheard of proportions, putting the heat on Lexus to remain competitive. And Lexus took on the challenge with gusto -- thank the vehicular lords.
If the IS 430 prototype was to serve as any indication of Lexus performance capabilities, not even that could prepare us for the unveiling of the supremely ...

Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Anti-Wrinkle Cream
The quest for the Fountain of Eternal Youth continues with Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Anti-Wrinkle Cream, the latest concoction from the New York apothecary that still looks good for its age despite being founded all the way back in 1851. Formulated specifically for men, the easily absorbed oil-free formula is made with chestnut extract and soy, strengthening the skin and making it look firmer without the need for forehead-fixing botox injections. As befits the name “Facial Fuel”, Kiehl’s Anti-Wrinkle Cream also nourishes your skin by feeding your face with vitamins C and E as well as citrus extracts, although note that it probably doesn’t count as one of your five a day. ...
Player Etiquette
There are some lessons men can learn that will instantly improve their chances; here are a few techniques on Player etiquette that will show her you’re a class act.
Bad habits
Chewing your nails, picking your teeth, picking your nose, smoking -- it happens all the time, and I’ve seen more guys do it involuntarily than a Player should. Displaying your bad habits when you’re picking up a woman is going to instantly kill your game; your little nuances are as glaring as the skin flakes on your shirt. Really, is that appropriate? I think not.
A Player has to be prudent about the little things he does. While on the surface it may seem harmless and subtle, to her it’s an obtrusive turnoff that’s going to net you a handshake good-bye rather than the desired fervent lip-lock. Be mindful of what your intuition wants you to do, and think about the consequences if you fall back into your bad habits. Then, think about what kind of benefits you’ll get from her if you suppress your otherwise ...
Paul Smith Story
Our first reaction when we heard about Paul Smiths latest fragrance, the cryptically-named Story, was one of mild bewilderment; not only did the bottle not even feature Sir Pauls iconic stripes, but what did the title mean? We needn have worried. Perhaps predictably, this scent draws on the idea of the simultaneous muskiness and cleanness of antiquarian books hence the name, but with a masculine air that makes this a stylish and alluring product. For the literary amongst you, this will be a ...

Papaya
Deliciously sweet with musky undertones and a soft, butter-like consistency, it is no wonder the papaya was reputably called the fruit of the angels by Christopher Columbus. Once considered quite exotic, they can now be found in markets throughout the year. Although there is a slight seasonal peak in early summer and fall, papaya trees produce fruit year round.
Papayas are spherical or pear-shaped fruits that can be as long as 20 inches. The ones commonly found in the market usually average about 7 inches and weigh about one pound. Their flesh is a rich orange color with either yellow or pink hues. Inside the inner cavity of the fruit are black, round seeds encased in a gelatinous-like substance. Papayas seeds are edible, although their peppery flavor is somewhat bitter. The fruit, as well as the other parts of the papaya tree, contain papain, an enzyme that helps digest proteins. This enzyme is especially concentrated in the fruit when it is unripe. Papain is extracted to make ...

Top 10: Tuner Models
You might be wondering what tuner models actually do. In short, they’re the hotties who grace the pages of auto magazines like Super Street and Import Tuner. They also appear in hot rod and dirt bike calendars, work as spokeswomen for auto part companies and can generally be seen prancing around in tiny outfits at big racing events. Unless you harbor a love of cars and their various parts, you may not have heard of some of these tuner models. Of course, some of them often cross over into other forms of modeling so there is a chance you may know them well from other areas.
In any case these tuner models are the girls who we feel have made the biggest impact and turned the most heads in the tuner modeling biz.
