How Can I Get Some Relief?
If your eyes are just a little puffy, allergy eye drops and an over-the-counter antihistamine like Claritin or Zyrtec sometimes will take care of the problem.

Do I Need to See a Doctor?
Maybe. If the over-the-counter medicines don’t clear up the puffiness or your eyes are swollen shut, yes, you need to see a doctor. Swollen shut eyes can indicate something more serious than allergies and should be evaluated by a doctor.
